Dive Tropex, Fiji scuba dive shops are located at the Sheraton Fiji Resort, Sheraton Royal Denarau Resort, WorldMark-Trendwest, and Tokoriki Island and have access to dive sites throughout the Mamanuca group of islands. If you are splitting your vacation - staying at one place for part of the stay, and another for the remainder - Dive Tropex makes a note of where you have already dived and can take you to different sites for the rest of your stay.

The beautiful Mamanuca group of islands are situated north-west of Nadi on Fiji's biggest island Viti Levu.

Coral
Here are descriptions of just some of the wide range of dive sites we visit:


Fish Market (Magic Passage)
One of our popular sites with divers, this spot is known for its wide variety of fish life, from the little coral dwelling fishes to sharks, barracuda, and the occasional Bat Ray. Depth ranges from 25ft to 70ft on the deepest part of the dive.

Hole in the Wall Dive SiteShark
A hole in the side of the reef face that comes out on the reef surface. Spectacular coral formations, soft corals, Gorgonian fans and fish schools. The current is sometimes very strong in this area, which makes it ideal for drift diving, allowing a great distance of reef to be crossed during the dive. Average diving depth 50ft, maximum 80ft.

Jackies Dive Site
Situated on the Northern Point of the famous Beachcomber Island. Feed the variety of fish with your hand. Average diving depth 40ft.

King Fisher Reef
Situated inside the main outer reef between the Sheraton Fiji Resort and Malolo Island, approximately 20minutes by dive boat from Sheraton Fiji Resort. This reef is a relatively small reef abounding with live coral of exceptional beauty and reef fishes. The water is 15ft to 35ft in depth. Kingfisher Reef is also one of the more popular reefs used for skin diving and night diving and can be reached in short time from the Sheraton Fiji Resort and Sheraton Royal Denarau Resort.


Coral Gardens Pinnacles Dive Site
A coral head rising 50ft from a depth of 80ft, with a swim through at 80ft. This site is abundant with fish life and soft corals.


Coral Gardens Dive Site
Beautiful hard coral formations ranging from staghorn to cabbage-shaped corals covering a wide area of the reef that makes it look like a garden.

Coral Heads (Cabbage patch)
A large sandy area with numerous coral outcrops that houses soft corals, fish schools, Gorgonian fans, stingrays and beautiful hard coral formations. The south part of the dive site is perfect for introductory divers. The north side is spectacular for its soft corals. The depth ranges from 25ft to 50ft with a drop-off to 80ft on the east side.

Explore the 'Salamanda' Wreck Diving with Dive Tropex!

Exploring around the sunken ship 'Salamanda', the length is 110ft and the weight is 500 tons. The depth to the keel is 90ft, and the mast is 30ft.

Plane Wreck Dive Site
Exploring the US Air Force bomber that crashed and sunk during World War 2. Average diving depth 80ft.


Dive Boats

'DRAGER', a 30ft catchmaster craft powered by twin 150HP V6 Yamaha engines. Fully equipped for 10 divers plus crew.
'Drager'

'TANGAROA', a 25ft Fraser craft powered by a 150HP V6 Yamaha engine. Capable of carrying 8 divers and 2 crew on a 2 tank dive.

'TROPEX DIVER', a 25ft Yamaha boat powered by a 90HP engine. Fully equipped for 8 divers plus crew. A sturdy craft with a cruising speed of 25 knots.

'SCUBA II', a 25ft Yamaha long boat powered by a 90HP engine. Capable of carrying 6 divers and 21 crew on a 2 tank dive.

All boats are marine surveyed with oxygen, marine VHF radio, First Aid, etc. The equipment is all new. Our tanks are fitted with 'K' valves and filled by new Poseidon compressors, guaranteeing clean airfills.


All vessels are available for general charter as well.


DIVE TROPEX SUPPORTS THE CONSERVATION OF THE UNDERWATER ENVIRONMENT. DIVERS ARE ADVISED TO AVOID DAMAGING CORAL, AND ARE PROHIBITED FROM TAKING ANY MARINE LIFE FORMS OUT OF THE OCEAN.
